Slotted plate production automated. Multi-stage heat treatment
developed.
1975
Second generation mill diaphragms are tested and optimised.
1980
The first CPB, Third Generation, adjustable mill diaphragms are
being installed. Start up of the first 7.5 meter diameter Heyd
air separator. Rolled steel wear plates continue to gain acceptance
as a viable alternative to cast plates. New steel alloys are developed
during optimisation of mill diaphragm plates.
1987
Development of the High Efficiency Separator, QDK.
1988
AMERICAN PFEIFFER, the first
foreign subsidiary is founded in the U.S.A.
1993
Trademark application for ALLMAX® wear resistant grinding
media. Christian PFEIFFER mill diaphragms in operation exceed
5,000 worldwide.
