Christian Pfeiffer builds a workshop in Beckum for producing
parts for cement plants, an industry concentrated in this area.
1930
The company grows. Fabrication halls are built and the machinery
is expanded. Christian PFEIFFER diaphragms are registered to
be patented.
1939
Production and delivery of the first air separator.
1948
Fabrication of the first Heyd air separator.
1949 Christian PFEIFFER exports the first complete system.
1955 First allocation of technology licenses.
1956 Modernization and capacity increase of the production facilities.
1960 The first diaphragm for five meter diameter mills are built.
Additional patents are granted to Christian PFEIFFER.
1967 Introduction of the wear resistant coating, PFEITOLIT®.
1970 Slotted plate production automated. Multi-stage heat treatment
developed.
1975 Second generation mill diaphragms are tested and optimised.
1980 The first CPB, Third Generation, adjustable mill diaphragms are
being installed. Start up of the first 7.5 meter diameter Heyd
air separator. Rolled steel wear plates continue to gain acceptance
as a viable alternative to cast plates. New steel alloys are developed
during optimisation of mill diaphragm plates.
1987 Development of the High Efficiency Separator, QDK.
1988AMERICAN PFEIFFER, the first
foreign subsidiary is founded in the U.S.A.
1993 Trademark application for ALLMAX® wear resistant grinding
media. Christian PFEIFFER mill diaphragms in operation exceed
5,000 worldwide.
1995 Christian PFEIFFER introduces composite materials for mill diaphragms.
Research and development of alternative materials and adhesive
techniques continues.
1996 Take-over of the company through MFL Beteiligungs-Ges. mbH, Liezen, Austria.
1997 Since several years, CPB focuses more and more on the acquisition of complete grinding plants and now the first cement grinding plant in Sri Lanka is successfully commissioned.
2000 Since several years, CPB focuses more and more on the acquisition of complete grinding plants and now the first cement grinding plant in Sri Lanka is successfully commissioned.
2001 Take-over of the foundry for grinding media GST, Italy, and change of company's name to "Christian Pfeiffer Mezzomerico SpA".
Foundation of a subsidiary for the South American market in Santa Cruz, Bolivia (Christian Pfeiffer Latinoamericana S.A.).
2002 Overall modernisation of the Christian Pfeiffer production facilities by installation of a world-wide unique heat treatment plant for rolled steel material. Robots for the slotted plate fabrication and a modern CNC machinery system had already been installed earlier.
2003 Introduction of the 4th generation intermediate diaphragms with improved material transport outside the air flow. First diaphragms according this new principal are manufactured.
Utility model registration for the specification "Rohrmühlen-Trennwände" (tube mill diaphragms).
2008 Foundation of production plant for mill diaphragms in Changshu, China.
